YourTel America Field Technician
YourTel America is Your Local Communications Company! We provide affordable home phone services on a pre-paid basis to customers in the local and surrounding metro area. The Field Technician requires someone who can work out doors 80% of the time and can withstand the elements. This person should be responsible, energetic and committed to customer satisfaction. Tech will deliver high level of face to face customer service during new connections and repairs for current customers. Each day the Tech will report to their home office and will report daily and reports to the Regional Technician Manager.

Responsiblilities:
- Troubleshoot customer problems and fix the issue which may be a new phone jack, new inside wiring or coordinating with ATT to fix any outside problems
- Install phone jacks on the inside of a customers home
- Ability to work unsupervised and hold self accountable for timely and accurate work
- Communicate with dispatch and repair departments to ensure complete customer satisfaction
- Uses a variety of hand-tools and follows guidelines to repair units
- Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products
- Maintain vehicles and report any problems with the vehicle condition, equipment, and supplies
- Turns in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner
- Provides technical support to customers
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as necessary
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and apply flexibility in daily responsibilities
- Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time, able to kneel, bend, stoop, crawl, reach above head, and use hands for fine motor movements
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Experience with working in the elements (extreme heat and extreme cold)
- Able to lift or push up to 50 lbs
- Computer literate (Microsoft Products)
- Customer Service experience (face to face)
- Technical aptitude, previous telephone installation a plus
